Offering millions of people the chance to discover, and satisfy their curiosity, Discovery offers a compelling mix of stories across genres including science and technology, exploration, adventure, history and in depth behind-the-scenes glimpses at the people, places and organisations that shape and share the world we live in.
We proudly present the Discovery optics series that is produced by Levenhuk and endorsed by Discovery.
The Levenhuk Discovery Spark 767 AZ is a classic entry-level Newtonian reflector designed for observation of deep-sky objects. With this telescope, you can study double stars as well as large globular and scattered star clusters. You can see almost all of the deep-sky objects from the Messier catalog but not in high detail. As for the near-Earth objects, you can explore the Moon and the planets of the Earth group.
The optics of the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 767 AZ telescope are made of glass with an anti-reflective coating and produce clear, crisp, and sharp images. The alt-azimuth mount allows you to easily control the telescope by moving the tube horizontally and vertically. Pointing at astronomical objects is easy to master even for a beginner. The vertical axis of the mount has a lock knob that ensures high-precision pointing.
Three eyepieces and a 2x Barlow lens are included so you can experiment with the magnification. The accessories are stored conveniently on the tripod tray, which is adjustable. It is noteworthy that the knowledge book “Space. Non-Empty Emptiness” is great for all aspiring astronomers and is provided in a colorful gift box along with each telescope and other accessories. The book is a guide to space that will help you learn about celestial bodies or refresh your knowledge before proceeding with stargazing.
