Levenhuk 5S NG Monocular Microscope is a simple and reliable optical tool that will become a great assistant to a child in studies and scientific hobby. Its magnification range is from 40x to 500x, which allows for detailed study of prepared microscope slides and one-cell protozoa – amoebae, infusoria, and euglenae. The microscope is easy to operate, so a kid will be able to conduct research without adult help. The microscope features simple illumination – a mirror, and it does not require auxiliary power. Such design eliminates the need for an electrical contact.

A trinocular revolving nosepiece is installed on the microscope to provide a quick change of the objective lenses during observations. You can install different eyepieces in the eyepiece tube – two of them are already included in the kit. The stage is equipped with simple stage clips designed to easily place prepared microscope slides. Right above it, there are fine and coarse focusing knobs that ensure soft sharpness control. A small mirror is used as an illuminator. A diaphragm disk allows for illumination intensity control.

The microscope body is made of metal. It is sturdy, reliable and durable.
