AK-1505-S - CLOSING THERMOSTAT
Equipment mounted in cabinets, such as servers, backup power systems, monitoring, CCTV, alarm, etc., among others, requires that the temperature be kept at a suitable constant level. The simplest solution to this problem is to use fans or coolers of various types. But what if the administrator would like to avoid their unnecessary, redundant operation; reduce the cost of their operation, and extend the life of their operation? Lanberg offers a simple and flexible solution to easily achieve this goal: the AK-1505-S shutdown thermostat. It allows you to regulate the temperature in server racks by controlling the flow of current to cooling equipment and/or airflow support products. The device is equipped with a current contact that is short-circuited (closed), and thus turns on the supported cooling when the temperature set by the user on the thermostat is exceeded. This is all thanks to the thermobimetal sensor, which mechanically deforms under the influence of ambient temperature. Combined with the ability to independently set the temperature on the thermostat, the device will fully meet the expectations of the user.

CONTACT (NO) NORMALLY OPEN: CLOSING, FAST-ACTING
The AK-1505-S uses the aforementioned contact to ensure that the device responds as quickly as possible to a change in ambient temperature. The heating of the thermobimetal temperature sensor in the device causes the electrical circuit to close and allow current to flow. When the temperature of the device or the environment drops to a certain temperature, the electrical circuit reopens.

SAFE SOLUTION - FLAMMABILITY CLASS UL 94 V-0
The housing of the AK-1505-S thermostat is made of high-quality plastic with a fire resistance rating of UL 94 V-0, confirmed in laboratory tests by issuing a relevant document. The use of this type of material guarantees that in case of fire the device will not be a source of additional fire.
This is an extremely important aspect in today's design of server, control, electrical cabinets to use products with a reduced risk of flammability.


INSTALLATION IN 2 WAYS
In addition to the standard clips (located on the back of the design) dedicated for DIN 35mm rail mounting, the AK-1505-S thermostat is also equipped with an additional removable flat black powder-coated mounting eye of 1.0 mm thickness, compatible with RACK use. The flat design provides the user with any mounting method. The flat eye can be used left or right, on the front or back of any rack mounting rail.
It can also be flipped 180 degrees and mounted where there is a problem with standard RACK space. In addition, the ear has holes on both sides, thus allowing the thermostat to be mounted on it on both sides. Thanks to its unique solution, Lanberg offers 2 ways of mounting, thus allowing you to choose any mounting location.
