Introduction\nThe STB-5500 is the latest Pro:Centric Smart set top box now supporting Ultra High Definition (UHD) video decoding and output resolution, plus a integrated 4K picture upscaler of Full HD content on the HDMI/USB inputs. \nFor future hardware upgrades, the STB-5500 supports an enclosure design with an expansion side-connector enabling third party System Integrator partners to add their own hardware modules to deliver additional capabilities.
