A shining metropolis

A city renewal plan is underway in Lumiose City! The goal: to transform it into a place where Pokémon and people can truly meet. Shortly after arrival you choose one of the following Pokémon to accompany you on your journey — Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile.

Together you can explore the streets of this sprawling city or visit Wild Zones — habitats where you will encounter wild Pokémon. To catch them you must carefully aim and throw a Poké Ball, or defeat them with help from the Pokémon on your team.

New, dynamic battles

For the first time ever, trainers and their Pokémon will move and perform actions during battles in real time. Pokémon will execute their moves when their trainers command them to do so.
